NOSE IMPLANTS
This segment will primarily address implant complications and how to identify them.
NOSE

A well done nose implant ensures perfect symmetry and proportions, as in the picture above.

Here is the science behind it.

Infection
Notice the localised redness. This may be associated with pain, swelling, discharge, indentation, bleeding.

Above is an example of extrusion, meaning the implant has eroded out. This is very apparent and can be seen either on the skin or in the nasal lining.

This is an example of impending extrusion, where there is thinning of the skin at a focal point +/- redness.
Essentially if an implant looks like it is at risk of extrusion, one can consider removal of it.

Here are examples of implants for the bridge, dorsum and tip of the nose, and for the chin.
CHIN

Above are chin implants based on your shape and size.
Here is an example of implant extrusion.
CHEEK IMPLANT
Asians tend to have high cheekbones. So this procedure is seldom performed in Asians.
Essentially, the key is to create apple cheeks, with model like defined cheekbones.

Above is the image of an implant.
So I hope this segment has been useful. Remember, when in doubt, seek medical attention early.
